The Defense Material Organization of the Netherlands awarded Micropore Incorporated a contract for the supply of an emergency CO2 removal system for use in distressed submarines (DISSUB). The system will provide CO2 removal capability for about 7 days for the Walrus-class submarines.

The Public Works and Government Services Canada awarded Micropore Incorporated a contract for the supply of an emergency CO2 removal system for use in distressed submarines (DISSUB). The system will provide CO2 removal capability for about 7 days for the Victoria-class submarines.

ExtendAir® submarine technology has been transitioned into a mine safety product for use in mining emergencies. Lithium Hydroxide curtains can now be used to control CO2 in mine safety shelters that have been required by the State of West Virginia and are being tested by MSHA and NIOSH. The British Royal Navy awarded Micropore Incorporated a contract for the supply and in-service support of an emergency CO2 removal system for use in distressed submarines (DISSUB). The system will operate independently of submarine services and will provide CO2 removal capability for about 7 days for the full complement of a SSN/SSBN.
